'A Personal Account of my Wheelchair Tennis Sessions'
"Before I needed to use a wheelchair, sport was an incredibly big part of my life. It didn’t matter what sport it was, I would always give it a go!
Around 4 years ago, I was diagnosed with a neurological condition that impacts on my ability to walk and balance, and severely effects my energy levels.
I spent a lot of time searching for wheelchair sports clubs in my local area, but the only options were miles away and I was unable to attend anything regularly.
After years of being unable to find a way of keeping active, I started to attend free Tennis sessions with Nova Sports & Coaching, an organisation specialising in providing opportunities and equipment for people to engage in sporting activities, regardless of their ability or disability.
Since I started playing Tennis again, my life has improved dramatically. I’m more confident, I am fitter, stronger and I am a great deal happier than I have been in a long time.
Every session I have attended, I have come away smiling. The Coaching Staff at Nova Sports & Coaching have been exceptional.
The care and time that they are willing to give is truly admirable.
Regardless of age, ability or disability, Nova Sports & Coaching are providing sports sessions that are helping both children and adults to keep active and to improve their health and well-being by playing sport!"
